Health insurance? See what you really pay now.
Health insurance can be switched once a year, before 1 January. The others can be switched when the contract term ends. The maker of MuntLab compared his car and home insurance once and now pays €74 a month less.
On the 2nd of each month you get a reminder. Then you see what got more expensive, what's new and what stopped. 30 days free, just your email.
Yes. MuntSnap has no signup, no account and no email required to see your results. It's a free tool from MuntLab — if you like what you see, there's an optional link to try the full app afterward.
Your file never leaves your device. All parsing and categorization happens in your browser using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded to a server, stored, or logged. You could disconnect your internet after the page loads and it would still work. We only count that someone opened the page, read a file, clicked through to the app or asked for automatic bank linking, and through which link or QR code if there was one. No amounts, names or other data. If you continue in the app, your data goes straight from this page to the app inside your own browser, never via a server.
ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank statements all work as CSV, Excel or PDF exports from online banking. Most other banks' CSV or Excel exports work too, as long as they include a date, description and amount column. Scanned or photographed PDFs (image-only, with no text layer) aren't supported — export a text-based PDF or CSV instead.
Yes. You see what you spent that month. Which payments are fixed is a best guess with one month. With two or three months it is certain. You choose the period when you download from internet banking.
It uses the same rule-based categorization engine built into the MuntLab app, matching common Dutch and international merchants — supermarkets, subscriptions, utilities, transport and more. The full app goes further: you can correct any category and it learns from your corrections over time.
